1. Ordering
   Serindia.com offers the following ordering methods:
   1. Online via our secure server
   2. Print & Fax Order

Online via Secure Server
Here are the steps to place an order online:

1. After you have added items in your shopping cart, made changes and are ready to check out, click Secure Server Order
2. Signing in. If you are a new customer, enter your email address and choose New Customers. If you are an existing customer, enter your email address and password.
3. Enter your shipping address. If the shipping address is the same as shipping address, click "this address is also my billing address"
4. Choose your preferred shipping methods.
5. Provide method of payment. New customers can choose his/her password here.
6. Finalize and submit your order. After reviewing all information, click Place Your Order. Your will receive an email confirmation within one hour. To find out the progress of your order, visit myAccount link.

Print & Fax Order

1. After you have added items in your shopping cart, made changes and are ready to check out, click Print & Fax Order
2. Serindia.com displays your order with a blank form for you to fill out billing, shipping and payment information.
3. After completing the form, fax your order to 312-664-4389.
4. By choosing Print & Fax Order, you will not be registered online. If you have any questions about orders by fax or mail, please send an email to info@serindia.com.

Methods of Payment
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover
and checks or money orders in U.S. dollars drawn on
U.S. banks.  We do not charge your credit card until
we ship your order.

Library Orders
We accept library orders via Serindia.com, email, or
mailed-in purchase order. If you order electronically,
please include your purchase order or reference
numbers with the message. No pre-payment is necessary.

2. Shipping & Handling
   

   The shipping and handling charges are:
   USA address: 15% of your order's total
   International (including Canada): 35% of your order's total

   Your order's total is the sum of each book's price excluding taxes and shipping & handling.

   Estimated delivery time:
   USA & Canada address: 5-10 business days (UPS Ground or Media Mail)
   International: 10-14 days (US Postal Service Airmail)

   For customers who choose Express Service, a flat fee of US$25.00 will be added per one complete order.
   Express Service USA & Canada: 1-2 business days Express Service Overseas: 3-5 business days (DHL Worldwide Express)

   Express Shipping Service:
   Express Service for both USA and International: $25.00 in addition to standard shipping charge. This $25.00 fee will cover ONE entire order of books available at the time of order, regardless of the number of copies.

   Depending on total weight, if the shipping cost is less than quoted, we will adjust the charge accordingly. We require street address and daytime telephone number for Express Service. We cannot ship to PO boxes or Military addresses for this service.

3. Returns Policy
   If you are not satisfied with the order received, you may return the shipment within two weeks after receipt of your order for a full refund.

   If the return is the result of our error, we will pay for the return shipping cost. Books returned must be in original condition. We cannot accept damaged or shelf-worn items.

   Refunds
   We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 7 to 14 business days of our receiving your return. We can refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error.

4. Privacy & Security
   Serindia.com respects your privacy and any information collected by shopping at Serindia.com will not be shared with anyone. We do not rent, sell, trade or share our mailing list.

   We only collect information that you give us during your shopping visit. This includes your name, billing and shipping address, books you've purchased or added to your wish list, payment method, credit card type, credit card number, and expiration date.

   Email Promotion and Catalogue
   We want to keep you informed of our forthcoming titles and other exclusive offers. We will not share your mailing and email address with any one. If you do not wish to receive any email promotion or printed catalogue, please send an email to info@serindia.com and ask that your name be removed from our list.

   Security
   We use industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software which encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet.

5. myAccount
   You can use myAccount section to change your personal information, including email address, password, billing and shipping address, and payment information. You can also view your past orders and find out your order status.

   Wish List
   Serindia Publications has a number of valuable titles waiting to be reprinted. If you wish to have these books in the future, please choose Add to Wish List. We will use this information to estimate the demand of our titles and to make a reprint decision.
